ROOMS & AMENITIES

The Mornington Rose features four well-appointed bedrooms with fine imported bedding, hypo-allergenic pillows and crisp cotton linen, a coffee maker, and a sitting area with comfortable chairs for relaxing, reading or sharing a glass of wine.

Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a hair dryer, toiletries, and luxurious towels.

All bedrooms are on the second floor, and are air-conditioned and smoke-free.

The centrally located service area has a hot/cold water dispenser, kettle, ice, and a bar fridge for guests' use. Hot and cold beverages such as soft drinks, herbal, regular, and iced tea, coffee, spiced apple drinks, hot chocolate, and cappuccino are always available and are complimented by Murray’s fresh, delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies.

The Ebony Rose Room, decorated in cream, black and claret, features a comfortable queen-size bed, a sitting area in the box bay window, and couture and Eiffel Tower prints which give a distinctly Parisian feeling. It has an en-suite three-piece bathroom, and a private balcony with a Bistro set for two and wrought iron window boxes bursting with geraniums.

The Rose Suite, decorated in the palest pink, features a mahogany queen-size bed four poster bed, Williamsburg furniture and an English rose border. Walk through to the cozy sitting room with satellite television and a comfortable armchair and sofa for lounging, reading or cuddling. A three-piece bathroom with a shower completes the suite.

The Ivory Rose Room, in shades of cream, butterscotch, and caramel, has comfy extra-long twin beds, a small sitting area, and a large bright four-piece ensuite bath with a soaker tub and shower. Walk outside to your furnished balcony roof garden, enjoy the oleanders and flowering planters and let the cares of the day ebb away.........

The Champagne Rose Room features a comfy queen-sized bed, an elegantly furnished sitting area, and a large window with a wonderful view of the garden. The four-piece ensuite bathroom is bright and airy, with a separate shower, and an air-massage tub just made for lots of bubbles.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the lounge and dining room at any time. Relax on our wonderful wrap-around veranda, or enjoy the peace and stillness of the garden as you sit by the pond or in the gazebo, away from life’s hustle and bustle.

Although our cats, Spike and Calli live in a separate part of the house from guest areas, they do not allow other pets.

Business guests are welcome. Flexible breakfast times, office equipment, refreshments and meeting facilities can easily be arranged.

We will be happy to make any dinner reservations for you.
