ROOMS & AMENITIES
There are three guest rooms:
• The William Room with queen bed and four piece ensuite (in room) washroom.
• The Edward Room with twin or king bed and ensuite (in room) washroom with shower.
• The Elizabeth Room with queen bed and a four piece private (right across the hall) washroom. The upstairs Sitting Room with TV and collection of books is a great place to relax. The downstairs Parlour is a comfortable and quiet room filled with antique furniture and art. A bar fridge, coffee, assorted teas, bottled water and soft drinks are provided. The beautiful garden offers comfortable sitting areas.
Guest pets are not allowed.
BREAKFAST
A full breakfast with hot entree is served in the dining room which is furnished with antiques and is flooded with sunshine in the morning from an east facing bay window. Breakfast is served at 8:30am RATES
Seasonal rates start at $149 from May 1 to October 31. Off season rates are offered November 1 to April 30. All rates are subject to 13% tax.
During the months of July, August and September there is a two night minimum on weekends. One night weekend bookings will be taken if there is a single night vacancy between other bookings.
Acceptable forms of payment include Cash, Cheque, Travelers Cheques, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
POLICIES
Check-in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check-out is at 10:30am. As a courtesy for guests attending a matinee performance, you may park your car at Buckingham House if you have pre-arranged parking with your host.
A deposit of $50 will confirm your booking. In the unfortunate event that you are required to cancel your booking, your deposit, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be returned to you provided cancellation takes place with more than 21 days notice.
If cancellation or modification occur with less than 21 days notice of your arrival, Buckingham House will make every effort to re-book your room. If this is not possible, you will be responsible for the amount of your original booking, less any night that is re-booked. As many guests plan their visit months in advance and unforeseen events can sometimes arise, we would respectively encourage the purchase of trip insurance to avoid the stress of cancellations. Buckingham House is located in the heart of Stratford within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, services and theatres. |
